Each piece retains its original design integrity while allowing limited customisation in size, finish and material. Adjusted pricing will be shared based on the selected preferences.
- We recommend that you protect delicate flooring from potential marking by feet or legs. Dropping furniture onto corners or feet will cause damage to the frame and/or legs.
- Leaning backwards on two legs of a chair will weaken joints. Take care to prevent sharp objects such as toys, buckles and heels from coming into contact with your furniture.
- Avoid contact with any chemicals such as hair & makeup products, perfume etc. as these may affect the finish.
- If your furniture becomes stained, scratched or chipped or suffers other damage we recommend professional help is sought to restore it.
- Following the guidelines above will ensure product performance is maintained. Tectona Grandis Furniture is not responsible for defects caused by the misuse of your product.
Tectona Grandis Furniture – Limited Warranty
Tectona Grandis Furniture provides a One-Year Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for products purchased directly from our authorised studios. Please retain your purchase invoice for any warranty request.
A defect is defined as a structural imperfection that affects intended residential use when the product has been properly stored, handled, installed and maintained.
Natural Material Characteristics
Our furniture is crafted from natural materials, including solid wood. Natural behaviour such as movement, minor cracks, checks, expansion or contraction is not considered a defect. These characteristics are inherent to genuine timber and cannot be prevented or controlled.
If such natural developments occur, they are eligible only for repair, as feasible. No replacement or return will be provided.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage arising from improper storage, handling, installation, maintenance, misuse, negligence, alterations or accidental impact.
- Natural ageing, wear and tear, including changes in upholstery, fabric or leather behaviour.
- Variations in colour, grain, texture or figure inherent to natural materials.
- Upholstery materials, fabrics, leathers and buttons on tufted elements.
- Labour charges, onsite visits, transport or reassembly services.
- Products used in commercial or non-residential settings.
Warranty
Any concern must be reported within the warranty period, along with proof of purchase. After assessment, Tectona Grandis Furniture will carry out repairs to address the issue. The warranty strictly covers repair only and does not allow for replacement, return or refund in any circumstance.
Repairs do not extend the original warranty period, and the warranty is non-transferable.
Visible defects or order variances must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Issues reported after this period will be considered accepted.
At Tectona Grandis Furniture, each piece is crafted to order with careful attention to material and finish. As a result, we do not accept returns or offer exchanges once an order has been confirmed and delivered.
In the rare event of a manufacturing concern, our One-Year Limited Warranty applies and provides repair-based support only. Replacement, return or refund is not offered under any circumstance.

Quality is embedded in every stage of our production. A structured checklist is followed across four key departments—wood sorting, carpentry, polishing, and fabric—each overseen by trained supervisors who ensure adherence to defined material and workmanship standards.
All products undergo a final multi-level inspection before dispatch. Only pieces that meet the parameters approved by our Quality Control Head proceed to packaging.
Our packaging protocol prioritises product integrity and environmental responsibility. For outstation deliveries, boxes are reserved for chairs and small tables, while larger items are wrapped in triple-layer corrugated paper and secured with cling film to protect their form, joints, and surfaces.
The packing team is trained to identify and reinforce vulnerable points in each model, ensuring minimal risk of damage and a safe, seamless delivery experience.
